The ICT advocacy Council meets on a monthly basis to discuss various ICT policy and strategy issues. The council’s agenda for the year 2003 includes the following issues:

1. Competitive Positioning strategy for the ICT sector

2. National E-Learning Strategy3. Internet Penetration Strategy

4. National IT Export Development Strategy

5. National e-Commerce Strategy

6. Positioning on Open Source

The Council Management Support Group, housed under the Ministry of ICT, is provides support for meeting preparation and follow-up, in addition to conducting and managing research projects with the involvement of Council members.
